Remember this cute, innocent puppy? It's our dog, Aesa. She's not as innocent anymore - especially after her behavior this evening. After a quick run to the store, we came home to find that Aesa had gotten into Jakson's big bag of Tootsie Pops that we were planning to use for a craft project with Grandma this weekend. It appears that she ate about 10 suckers. Somehow she ate the candy, yet avoided eating the sticks. Crazy dog.
We looked it up and it takes about 4 chocolate bars to affect a 10 lb dog. Since ours is a dainty 80 lbs, it looks like her candy binge won't do any damage except to her waistline.

Aesa sounds like she knows a good thing when she finds it- I like to eat the candy and leave the sticks too! At least you can understand candy- our pup is really into eating concrete...Hmmmm.
