Wev'e been busy - but once in awhile your just have to relax and take a break. Obviously - some in our clan like to lounge a little more than the humans, but she's more than willing to share some warm spot and cuddle.

The Evil Apple has arrived...let the annual feast of sugar begin!

Evil in a goood way. Nana buys these ooey-gooey apples for the Sioux City Humane Society fundraiser they run this time of year. They're awesome - covered in caramel, dark chocolate, white chocolate and nut sprinkles! It all leads up to Valentines Day, and of course that just means way too much good stuff. I think my diet is screwed this week. Jakson is sitting next to me right now in sugar coma - after eating some of that apple and relaxing - I think his eyes are getting heavy. I can't blame him.

Brrr......

Sorry - I haven't written much recently - I was just out chipping the snow off the driveway. No not shoveling, C-H-I-P-P-I-N-G the snow off. And mind you it's way below zero right now. We had about 4 inches drop out of the sky today, and since it's SO cold - the snow actualy frrezes even harder. Now I konw what walking around the arctic circle feels like. Now - I'd like to give a shout to Aunt Kathy - who recently returned from a nice little vacation down in South Carolina. Welcome Back! I can't imagine you had much fun in the nice climate - knowing your fellow teachers were back here toiling away in the winter wonderland.
