1964 Impala - Love on the road

This brings back some memories. We were at the Addy Awards last Saturday at the convention center, and they were also having a car show. This '64 Chevy Impala SS reminds of the 64 I had for my first car. Now - mine wasn't an SS model - or looked quite this nice, but it still was an awesome car. I wish I still had that car. I remember the night that I was out with some friends and it was raining, and the car hydro-planed and I hit a wall (not hard - but hard enough) Dad - I am sorry - I know you liked that car alot, I did too and I know how disappointed you were when you saw the damage. You tried to fix it and I wish I still had it today to make it look great. I miss the road trips, the red color, the glass packs. My car was a rumbler - you couldn't miss it coming down the road. I am not sure what ever happened to that car.

5 days until Disney. I don't think Jakson can hold his excitement in much longer.

Funtimes

It's been hectic lately. With trying to tear down an office in preparation of the new addition, Jakson has cabin fever and it's been unusually nice here. I have been trying to get to writing something, so tonight I am making myself do it. Some events happening lately...

Jakson and the neighbor boy Kai thought it would be fun to have a impromptu snowball battle.

Tomorrow Jakson gets to have a party for Valentine's Day. We had an assembly line set up to get his load ready to go.

Other milestones this week - Jakson learned to tie his shoes - a great triumph.

Oh - and 16 days until Disney!

26 days and counting...

I am soooo ready for a vacation. I think Jakson is too. It's cold and Disney in warm sunny Florida sounds nice. We are getting excited. Look out Mickey - Jakson will be looking for you!
