Knees beware

That's right - my knees will again be really angry with me. April 19th marks the Twin Cities Get Your Rear in Gear 5K Run/Walk. Anne Notch was to be the honoree for the kids Fun Run part of the event, but she passed away in January from colon cancer. Anne is Karla's sister (Kirsten) husband's sister (got that?). The Notch's have been family friends of Karla and I for some time now. The race provides me something to work for in regards to working out/training, and it honors a really strong person. I don't normally ask for donations for these races (ok - so I have only run one race so far) but if you feel so inclined to donate to the cause, the race gave me a web link for donations to be taken online.
